Young United Voice for Action: Empowering students to shape the classrooms and learning experiences of tomorrow
YUVA is a catalytic platform where students from grades 9 to 12 engage in high-order discourse, articulate visionary ideas, and contribute novel perspectives to the reimagination of learning spaces.
This initiative seeks to harness the intellectual capital of youth, positioning them not merely as passive recipients of education but as active co-creators of pedagogical evolution. Amid profound educational transformation, YUVA ensures that student voices are central to shaping the future of learning.

A systematic approach to empower student voices through a structured selection process
Interested schools register their institution to participate in YUVA. Each school forms a team of 4-10 students from grades 9-12 who are passionate about educational innovation and transformation.
Teams prepare and submit a 10-minute presentation showcasing their innovative ideas for educational transformation. These presentations should address one of the thematic areas of the YUVA dialogue.
Based on the initial presentations, top-performing teams are selected and announced to advance to the regional round. Teams are evaluated on creativity, feasibility, impact potential, and presentation quality.
Selected teams participate in regional rounds held at five locations across India. Teams prepare and deliver an expanded 30-minute presentation on their assigned educational transformation topics.
The top 10 teams from all regional rounds advance to the stage round at the National Summit. These teams represent the most promising ideas and articulate presentations from across the country.
The journey culminates in the National Summit where final presentations are made. Winning teams receive cash prizes and recognition for their outstanding contributions to educational transformation.

YUVA is open to students from grades 9 to 12 who are passionate about reimagining education. We welcome diverse perspectives, innovative thinking, and a commitment to intellectual discourse from students across all educational boards and institutions.
Participants are selected based on the quality and originality of their submitted position papers, multimedia presentations, or conceptual frameworks. A panel of educators, cognitive scientists, and education innovators will evaluate submissions for intellectual depth, visionary thinking, and practical applicability.
YUVA aims to produce a comprehensive Blueprint for Educational Reform—a white paper synthesizing student insights and recommendations for policymakers and institutional leaders. Additionally, participants will develop critical thinking, public speaking, and collaborative skills while building a network of like-minded young visionaries.
